KleiraShield Privacy Policy

1. Our core principles

• We are a tool, not a provider: We do not operate VPN servers. We do not monitor, log, or inspect your internet traffic.
• Minimal footprint: We only collect data required to facilitate account access and maintain app performance.
• Privacy first: We do not sell your data, build advertising profiles, or send marketing communications.

2. Geographic availability

Currently, KleiraShield is intended for use only within the United States.

3. Account management & deletion

We support Sign in with Apple and email/password authentication to sync your configurations.

Data collected: Unique identifiers and your account email.

Your right to delete: You have full control over your data. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via our website.

Effect of deletion: Deleting your account immediately removes your authentication credentials and any stored configurations from our active systems.

No marketing: We do not use your email for newsletters, marketing, or tracking.

4. Technical data handling

To ensure the app remains reliable, we use secure backend infrastructure and industry-standard analytics tools.

Configuration delivery

When you use our website to "push" a VPN configuration to your Apple TV, the configuration is processed through our secure infrastructure to facilitate delivery to your device.

Non-persistent: We do not permanently store or log your VPN certificates, private keys, or credentials. Once delivery is confirmed, this data is removed from our processing systems.

Analytics & performance

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to identify bugs and improve the user experience.

• Technical metrics: Feature interactions, device model, and crash diagnostics.
• Anonymization: This data is aggregated and is not attached to you individually. It is accessed on a "need to know" basis by authorized personnel only.
• Retention: Analytics data is retained only as long as the default periods set by our service providers.

5. What we never collect

• Traffic logs: We never see or store the websites you visit or the data you transmit.
• External activity: We do not track what you do outside of the KleiraShield app.
• Advertising data: We do not share info with third-party advertisers.

6. Security & updates

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest. Access to our backend is strictly limited.

Policy updates: We may update this policy as we expand. Since we do not maintain a marketing list, we do not send update notifications. Please check the "Last updated" date at the top of this page for the latest version.
