Join the KleiraShield beta

This beta is Apple TV (tvOS) only — there is no iPhone, iPad, or Mac build of KleiraShield to install right now. You may still use an iPhone or iPad with TestFlight to Accept a public link invite; Apple then lets you install the tvOS beta on your Apple TV when you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

Apple lists tvOS 18 or later for tvOS betas in TestFlight. If the invite shows stricter criteria, tap Learn More on the invitation to see what the developer requested.

Step 1

Get TestFlight

TestFlight is Apple's app for installing beta software. Download it from the App Store on the devices you use for this flow — at minimum Apple TV, and for a public link invite also on an iPhone or iPad signed into the same Apple ID (so you can tap Accept).

KleiraShield VPN beta

Secure your connection from the couch. KleiraShield is a WireGuard and OpenVPN client for tvOS: connect with your own profiles, switch when you need to, and see status on the big screen — built for Siri Remote and a simple TV workflow.

Install the tvOS beta — public link

This matches Apple's documented flow for tvOS + public link invites.

  1. Install TestFlight on an iPhone or iPad and on your Apple TV. Use the same App Store account on both.
  2. On the iPhone or iPad, open our public invite (button above). Tap Accept for KleiraShield VPN.
  3. On the Apple TV, open TestFlight, stay signed in with that same account, then install KleiraShield VPN.

Install the tvOS beta — email invitation

If Apple emails you a tester invite, Apple's tvOS flow uses a redemption code on the TV.

  1. Install TestFlight on your Apple TV.
  2. On an iPhone, iPad, or computer, open the email and tap or click View in TestFlight. Apple opens a page with a redemption code.
  3. On the Apple TV, open TestFlight, go to Redeem, enter the code, then install KleiraShield VPN.

Already have a redemption code? On Apple TV, open TestFlight → Redeem and enter it — you don't need to open the email again.

Each build is available to test for up to 90 days from when the developer uploads it. TestFlight can notify you when a new build is available. For feedback on tvOS betas, Apple directs testers to use the developer contact shown under the app's Information in TestFlight.
